Takedown Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
1. Respeto sa gawa ng iba
Tunogkanto is built by musicians, for musicians — kaya sineseryoso namin ang copyright. We don't host audio or video files; music on the site is embedded from platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and SoundCloud. Pero kung may text, lyrics, images-as-links, o embeds na lumalabag sa karapatan mo, we'll act on it.
2. How to file a takedown notice
Gamitin ang contact form (piliin ang “Takedown / copyright”) and include:
- Your name and contact details, and the copyrighted work involved.
- The URL(s) of the infringing content on tunogkanto.
- A statement that you own the work (or represent the owner) and that the use is not authorized.
- A good-faith statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
Members can also flag content with the report button — piliin ang “Copyright violation.”
3. What happens next
- We review notices promptly — usually within a few days.
- Valid complaints result in the content being hidden or removed, at aabisuhan ang nag-post kung bakit.
- Repeat infringers lose their accounts.
4. Counter-notice
Kung tingin mo nagkamali kami — halimbawa, ikaw talaga ang may-ari o may permiso ka — reply to the takedown email with an explanation and any supporting proof. We'll review and restore the content if the counter-notice checks out.
5. Embedded content
For infringing audio or video inside an embed, the fastest route is to also report it to the host platform (YouTube, Spotify, atbp.) — they control the file. Removing an embed here removes it from tunogkanto only.
